Short image description

Boat quay is a Historical Quay in Singapore history and is located upstream of the Singapore river on its Southern Bank.

History show during the past, this port was the busiest of the old port of Singapore. Here is some info. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Quote " Because the south bank of the river here resembles the belly of a carp, which according to Chinese belief is where wealth and prosperity lay, many shophouses were built, crowded into the area."

When you first step in Boat Quay you will notice there are so many choices here! Just walk down the boardwalk.

At least 25 different restaurants along the street. It can get overwhelming sometime, but I loved the busy, buzzing atmosphere.

The place certainly has a huge range of restaurants - all foods from generic Western through Indian, Thai and Chinese. The entire restaurants offer outside, riverside dining. You can enjoy your dinner under the starlight. Indeed very beautiful and romantic

This place really comes to alive during the night. Most everything is closed until then. It's fun just to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.

The bars open very late with all sorts of music from heavy metal to trance to sixties and seventies! Listen to the Jazz at Harry's bar maybe you prefer trance music.Finish the night off with a cruise on the Singapore River.
