Have you been to Singapore’s Farm Visits?

I bet you don’t!

Singapore Farm visits are very different from farms over in Nez Zealand or Australia. Here, It more on a small scale kind of thing. Singapore Farm Visits are very eye-opening and is very educational for kids.

Here are some of the Farms you can try

1. The Farmart Centre

The Farmart Centre is located somewhere off Choa Chu Kang Road . To get there you can take shuttle bus from Choa Chu Kang Bus interchange, which is provided by the Farmart.

A 50 cents Cert has to be purchased for the shuttle bus in and out of Farmart Centre. Do not worry, this Cert can be redeemed on purchases in Farmart Centre. The bus comes every interval of est. 30 minutes.

You can find interesting shop selling aquatic plants, Ornamental fish, DIY water fountain and many more. If you craving for exotic meats, over here you can crocodile, quail, ostrich and bullfrog and etc.

At the Farmart, children can learn to interact with small animals like goats, frogs, tortoise and etc at the animal corner.

Have you heard of Prawn Fishing?

You can find 2 or 3 small ponds besides the Main building for prawn fishing.

You can sit down and relax and have some fun at the place and you might bring back few kg of prawns back to your hotel. 

Ask the restaurant to cook for you! Just kidding.

2. Qian Hu Fish Farm

IQian Hu fish farm is specialize in breeding Dragon fish (Arowana), Farming, import and export and distributing ornamental fishes to varies countries.

Over at the fish farm, you can find a number of Dragons fish breeding ponds.You can't see much at the ponds

Wanting to see more Arowana fishes!

You can walk down to the house of the Arowana just beside the gift shop.

You were being amaze how big the fish can growth up too.

Walk around to see more ornamental fishes and its very beautiful!

The best part about the fish farm, they have an Agro-Education Center which allow kids to try out longkang fishing just a fee of $5. kids will be spend whole days trying to catch some fishes

3.Hay Dairies Goat Farm

After visiting to the Goat farm then I realize that goat’s milk are better than cow’s milk. Goat’s milk has more calcium, chorine and vitamins compare to cow’s milk. And it has less in lactose.

For your info. Goat's milk is suitable for everyone to consume and is the best thing to mother's milk.

Interesting facts to know!

Ok ! Let come back to Hay Dairies ……

Hay Dairies is a Small farm located off lim chu kang road at lane and the farm has about 1000 goats in total producing milk for sales to customers.

If you interested to see how goat’s milk is milk, come around 9 or 10 am. The demonstration and the short brief last about 15 minutes at intervals 30 minutes during the following times: 9am, 9.30am, 10am & 10.30am.

Note : For safety and hygiene reasons, please do not visit any cow farm prior to your visit to Hay Dairies. Visitors who have been to Europe in the last three months are also not allowed to visit our farm. We thank you for your cooperation

Kids would love to see the baby goats..!

And got to learn and identify the different types of goats.

If you interested in visiting the farm you can call them and check with them which is the best time to visit the farm.
