Visit Singapore, A garden that have everything!!! Singapore Botanic garden
Singapore Botanic Gardens is a huge garden and it has few numbers of entrances and people travel by foot will normally choose the Tanglin Gate Entrance and this gate is very near to orchard road. Other Entrance to the Gardens are, Burkill Gate, Nassim Gate and Cluny Park and Bukit Timah Gate Entrance.
The Garden is open daily from 5am to 12 midnight. The most important thing is that is free.The Singapore Botanic Garden is divided into 3 Core, Tanglin Core, Central Core and Bukit Timah Core.
The Singapore Botanical Gardens is a great place to take a slow stroll or just sits down and relax under the tree in the mornings and evenings.
You can find an Orchid garden within the botanic garden and is location at Central core and it says to have more than 100 species and 2000 hybrids collection of orchids. You can find Tons of beautiful orchids at National orchids Garden for an admission charge of SGD5. Remember to go to the VIP Orchid Garden, here it has different hybrids name after some famous people. E.g. Dendrobium Margaret Thatcher or Dendrobium Elizabeth and so on...........

With so many attractions in garden, you could easily spend half a day here walking the grounds and taking pictures of the flowers.The best time to go Botanic garden is in the mornings so that to avoid crowds. Just walk around and enjoy the flowers and the crisp morning air.

You can find few numbers of restaurants/cafes in the park a cafe Les Amis located at the Visitor Centre, Au Jardin Les Amis located at EJH Corner House offer French Cuisine, Halia Restaurant located in the Ginger Garden which offer local and western food, Taman Serasi Food Garden Serves local food.
There are several lakes in the garden Symphony Lake, Eco-Lake and Swan Lake and sometime it has free concerts on weekend.If you bring bread, you can feed the fish.Plants there are labeled with scientific and common name to cater to those who are interested in botany. All kids will cherish the myriad of species in the area.
If you fascinated with trees you can always join the one hour tour through the tropical rain forest with the volunteer guide. Check the schedule for the tour.
