Singapore attraction -Sentosa - Fort Siloso

If you interested about Singapore history I suggest that you come and visit Fort Siloso. The tour take you through the early date when Singapore still under the British occupation right up to when Singapore under Japanese invasion and prior to Singapore independence.

You can get a real feel from the exhibits like the Surrender Chambers , Prisoner of War Artwork and many more………..an experience of the true horrors from WW2.

I suggest you browse through the old photographs and some of the document and walk the old tunnels built by the British.

It is indeed a sad memory.......

Fort Siloso is one of the twelve costal batteries to be found on Singapore. Which make up of “Fortress Singapore”. But only Fort Siloso is solely restore battery. Fort Siloso is located on western tip of the island of Sentosa.

Fort Siloso was constructed by the British at the end of 19th century. The fort was intended to protect Singapore harbor. Unfortunately, invasion come from down from Malaysia.

This is a must see for anybody whom is interested in war history!

Opens from 10am to 6pm. Admission is at $8.
