Go Green - Natural Park - Pasir Ris park !



Pasir Ris Beach Park is also another popular place for local to go and relax, no doubt about it, it a bit out of the way. The beach park is located north- east of Singapore.

Pasir Ris park offer many facilities to many people for example there are a cycling track for people who like to cycle and barbecue pits and dining by the seaside too. Singaporean like to come here to chill out and you can find number of restaurants and cafes in this popular place call Fishman's village.

Great place for dining! You can find barbecued seafood and some other local cuisine serve here. Don't miss the Chili Crabs and if you can't take it too hot and spicy let the waiter know.

Come before sunset.................and walk the beach and you know I'm right!



If you interested to go for a natural walk you can find a Mangrove forest within the Pasir Ris Park. Remember to bring sufficient water and food. Don't leave out umbrella and mosquito repellent......................

Avoid shelter under any tree during thunder storm Singapore is also one of the lightning prone areas compare other.

Good walking boardwalks are built into the mangrove forests ......... so no need to worry about the tide getting you.

The mangrove forest is surrounding with trees like Rhizophora and Bruguiera and the forest is the natural habitat of mud crabs, mudskipper and horseshoe crabs and if you are lucky you can see archer fish hunting.

Beside there, you can find a Bird Watching Towner in the Park

And lastly, one of the popular features of the park is the huge "Spider net" station for the kids located on the Western end.
