Easy and convenient, travel around by singapore mrt !

The MRT is the most easy and convenient to travel around Singapore. And most important is that is cheaper and no time delay. The MRT system forms the backbone of the public transportation system.

At the moment, the MRT system consists

• North South Line (between Jurong and Marina Bay)

• East West Line (Between Boon Lay and Pasir Ris and and interlink between Tanah and Changi Airport)

• North East Line (Between HarbourFront and Punggol

The Circle Line (CCL) is estimate to complete in 2010. This will help cut traveling time and allow commuters to bypass busy interchanges like City Hall and Raffles Place.

Most of the stations are location either underground or above-ground. Those underground will serve as a bomb shelter during air attack.

The Magnetic tickets were use when MRT first come into operation in late 80's.It come in the form of single-trip or stored-value tickets.

Ez link card were introduce in 2002 as a mean for speedy and convenient transactions, and an efficient method of reducing fare evasion and it is more convenient compare to magnetic ticket.
