Asian Civilisations Museum
This is an excellent museum, but it covers a very broad area - from the Middle East to the Pacific Islands. So it can't go into real depth. But the variety of artifacts, and the explanations are excellent.The Museum brings to you 5000 years of Asian art and history.

Singapore National Museum
This is a very good museum to visit and it provide lots of information and I really enjoy this museum a lot. There are number of display cases showing scenes throughout Singapore's history with a brief explanation of what is happening.The recent renovated Museum has a lot more to offer to everyone. The new Museum has a new 2,800sqm History Gallery which will adopt a story telling approach to present the history of Singapore from the 14th century to the modern day to the visitors.Beside this, the Singapore National Museum offers some amazing films focuses on history aesthetic and cultural contexts screening in their cinematheque. So keep a look out for what new shows to be screen. If you are New to Singapore National Museum, I suggest you join the Museum guided tour and is totally free. The tour will introduce you to the magnificent Building of the Museum and adding to this the tour will bring you around and highlight to you those sculptures done by our local talents.
