The Ez link card

Before we get to talk about more let me introduce you the magic card call EZ link card. I also have 1 in my wallet ever I drive in Singapore.

I use it to travel to town by MRT and If you are thinking of getting around in Singapore cheap and affordable way. This would be the best way.

You also can see the use of this contact less EZ link card in 7-11 stores and MacDonald's and many more retailers. It’s gaining more and more popular nowadays.

you can buy a EZ Link Cards at any MRT stations and BUS interchanges These are sold at price of S$15.00 ( with a store value of $7.00 and $3.00 for deposit and the cost of the card is $5.00). With this you can travel as many times as you wish and in case you card run out of credits you can go to any nearby MRT stations and BUS interchanges to top up the card.

How to use the card?

On boarding a bus, touch the card on the card reader, then a green light appears on the reader and follows by a beeping sound. On exiting, repeat the same action. You will be able to see the card value on the screen.

If you have been to London or Paris, MRT is very similar to the tube or metro and more of the stations are underground. It a great experience to travel by the MRT.
