Visit Singapore - Thian Hock Keng Temple is absolutely lovely!

As you walk along Amoy Street you will come across a very old and attractive temple this is a well known temple call Thian Hock Keng and it is the oldest Chinese temple in Singapore.

Known as the temple of the goddess of the sea and protector of all sailors, the temple contains relics brought from China which are said to be hundreds of years old and if I not wrong, I remember I took my wedding photos here ten year ago. The result of the photos was so beautiful.

It's worth stopping in if you are walking through the neighborhood.
There are some very attractive ornate decorations like stylized dragons, carved screen on the ceiling around the central area.

Doesn't take long, doesn't cost anything, and a look at a different culture.

The temple is absolutely lovely.

It's beautiful, the people there are really sweet, and you can buy joss paper (wishing paper) to support the temple and give to your friends when you get home!

Also walk around; there are several smaller shrines to the sides. Of the two pagodas at either sides of the temple, one is used to contain ancestral tablets.
