Nevertheless, this decision he make has great impact on the development of Chinatown, Little India and Kampong Glam and so on.... Today, when you walk the area, you are able to witness the scenes of Singapore's Traditional culture and lifestyle at all these ethnic zones. These are not staged for the benefit of tourist. The festive lights up!
Remember the last time when you were here last Christmas, you got to notice the lighting up along Orchard road. It’s beautiful? Or Remember the lighting up along Chinatown during Chinese New year on February. The lighting up along Orchard Road was introduced during 1984 and it was Name “Christmas at the Equator”. Cool Right! It had been carried on till today for every year. Hope to see you here during the next Christmas. Merry Christmas!
